Since prehistoric times, stone totems have been used as tools for various purposes. They were used to demarcate trails and roads, had ceremonial functions (like Stonehenge in England) or as a hunting and defense tool. The process of building these “sculptures” is also known as rock-balancing and is used as a meditation tool. An exercise on the impermanence of the whole and linked to the choices that lead to balance. The Seixo line proposes the connection between outdoor and indoor through the shapes that refer to the stones worn by the action of the water in the rivers and the ceramic bases that bring rusticity without giving up elegance. The tables in the line work like pebbles, which when combined create different shapes and acquire new meanings.
