GIOCO RUG

Gioco, from the Italian word for "game," is a rug built through the assembly of modules that enhances the interplay between solid and void spaces, drawing inspiration from the play of light and shadow in natural weaves. In this rug, the rope is manually stitched to form different modules that are interconnected to shape the final size of the rug. This interplay of light and shadow allows the floor to be visible through the empty spaces left by the module design.
